Sitting Down to Stand Up Comedy Class

Description: This high-energy, 5-week class is designed to sharpen the skills that make great public speakers and to create an unforgettable stand-up set. Whether you want to command a room during a presentation, tell stories that actually land, or finally figure out why some jokes soar while others… politely disappear, this class has you covered. Expect a supportive, playful environment with plenty of laughs, low-pressure practice, and practical tools you can use immediately. No prior comedy or speaking experience required. Students just need a willingness to try, take risks, and have fun. The final class will culminate in a short “Open Mic Graduation” presentation on the Raue stage!

 

Processing Fee – A $4 per enrollment charge for all purchasing to support the software used for processing.

REFUND POLICY– In the event that your child cannot participate in the class after you have registered, Raue Center will issue a 50% refund of your registration fee up to two weeks before the start date. After this time period, if your child cannot participate in the class we will refund you 50% of your total fee in the form of a Raue Center gift certificate, redeemable for any upcoming RCSA Class within a year of cancellation, or can be used at Raue Center for tickets, etc. (restrictions may apply). Day of/ after the start of Class drops will not be refunded.
