Start a new holiday tradition at Raue Center with Choiroke, a pop-up choir experience that turns the whole theater into one big chorus!
This special Holiday Edition brings family and friends together to learn and sing some of the season’s favorite songs, accompanied by live piano and guitar. No auditions. No solos. No experience required. If you love to sing, you’re already qualified.
Your Choiroke leaders, David Sarkis and Kate Wilford, will start with a fun vocal warm-up before teaching the group each song one at a time. Lyrics will be provided, and Kate and David will guide you through the music as everyone learns together. Then we’ll put it all together and fill the theater with many voices in song.
Over the course of the 90-minute to two-hour experience, the group will learn four to six holiday favorites. Everything happens together, so no one is ever put on the spot or asked to perform alone. Just bring your voice and be ready to have some fun.
Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Bring Grandma. At around $20 per person, it’s an easy way to gather your favorite people, get into the holiday spirit, and start a new tradition at Raue Center.
