A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol brings the timeless tale of redemption, generosity, and the true spirit of Christmas to life in a way you’ve never seen before. Set in the historic gold-mining town of Cripple Creek, Colorado, this adaptation follows real-life town founder Bob Womack as he calls upon Charles Dickens himself to help save a greedy mine owner named Gooch. Just like Scrooge, Gooch is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future in a journey that transforms his heart and reminds us all of the power of love and community. Filled with original songs, heartfelt comedy, and the magic of Dickens’ classic story, A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol is more than a show—it’s a holiday tradition for the whole family. Don Quixote Suite & New WorksPresented by Engage Dance Theater SUNDAY, APRIL 7, 2024 | 12:00PM and 4:00PM TICKETS*Adults: $22*Students/Seniors: $18* Join Engage Dance Theatre, Engage Dance Academy’s pre-professional division, in their annual performance of Pointes for a Purpose, benefitting the Service League of Crystal Lake.  This two-act production showcases the strong technical training of Engage Dance Theatre in the styles of Jazz and Contemporary dance in the first act and a Don Quixote suite in the second act. Don Quixote, an audience favorite for its striking music and upbeat precision dancing is a ballet for everyone to enjoy.  Follow the lovable Don on his misadventures in search for his ‘Dulcinea’ through Spain, meeting the feisty Kitri, a band of thieving gypsies, a whimsical dream of ballerinas, and a town celebration with dancing Toreadors. $5 from each ticket sold will go directly to the Service League of Crystal Lake whose community service-based work continues to make our community a great place to live.  For more information about Engage Dance Theater and Engage Dance Academy, please visit engagedanceacademy.org Show Run-Time:  2 hours, including one 15 min intermission.
