On November 29, 2002, one year after the passing of former Beatle George Harrison, an extraordinary group of musicians gathered at London’s Royal Albert Hall for Concert for George—a heartfelt tribute celebrating his life, music, and remarkable influence on generations of artists and fans.
This January, Soundtracks of a Generation presents The Concert for George, bringing this moving musical tribute to the Raue Center stage. Featuring 15 of Chicago’s top musicians, this spectacular concert recreates the original Concert for George in its entirety, honoring Harrison’s extraordinary catalog of songs and the artists who came together to celebrate him.
