Description: Ready to level up your improv game? This Advanced Level 2 class is designed for RCSA Students who have completed our previous intermediate OR have prior improvisation experience and are eager to challenge themselves even further. Building on the fundamentals, students will dive into more complex work, stronger character development, advanced storytelling techniques, status, commitment, and long-form improvisation. Through fast-paced exercises, collaborative ensemble work, and performance-driven challenges, students will learn to make bolder choices, heighten scenes with confidence, and create richer, more authentic relationships on stage. Emphasis is placed on trusting your instincts, supporting your fellow performers, thinking quickly, and embracing creative risks in a fun, encouraging environment. Whether your goal is to become a stronger actor, a more confident performer, or simply sharpen your comedic instincts, this class will help you develop the skills to perform with greater confidence, creativity, and spontaneity. Come ready to commit, collaborate, and discover just how far your imagination can take you!
Students who have taken the RCSA Improv Intermediate class before are welcome to enroll with approval. For those that are new to RCSA but have improv experience, please email rcsaeducation@rauecenter.org for pre-approval BEFORE enrolling.
