Voice Over Acting- Intermediate level-Section 1

Description: This six-week Level 2 Intermediate course is designed for young actors who have completed a beginner voiceover class or have prior voice acting experience. Students will strengthen their acting skills behind the microphone while exploring the techniques professional voice actors use every day. They will move beyond simply reading scripts and learn how to make authentic performance choices, create memorable characters, interpret commercial copy, and confidently adapt to live direction. Through interactive games, improvisation, cold-reading exercises, character development, and mock recording sessions, students will gain valuable experience performing a variety of voiceover genres. 

 

Each class includes professional vocal warm-ups, performance exercises, partner activities, recording practice, instructor coaching, and constructive peer feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment. Actors will leave with increased confidence, stronger acting instincts, and practical techniques they can use in auditions, school productions, podcasts, animation, commercials, audiobooks, and future voiceover opportunities. Recommended Prerequisite: Completion of RCSA’s Level 1 Voiceover OR instructor approval. Please email tgeuevara@rauecenter.org for pre-approval if you have not take the RCSA class.
